Woodland and rolling meadows surround the property, where you can enjoy great walks and with free use of hosts bicycles, you can always take that perfect holiday snap. In total we have 9 acres of private woodland which children will love exploring and connect with nature. Wildlife is abundant here with deer grazing daily close by and many other visitors including foxes, rabbits, butterflies and swallows in summer months. The south facing pool and patio area boasts plenty of space with sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs for dining. A picnic table for guests use at the top of the garden near to the children's play area and badminton net allows families to soak up the countryside whilst enjoying garden games and some quality time together.

We absolutely adore France especially the Brittany region in particular. Our plan was to find a "get away from it all" location that had fantastic country views, peace and quiet and a real home from home appeal but not so rural that we felt too isolated. We love 'the French way' of life, the fine local food, good quality and value wine and popular delicacies from Brittany along with a totally stress free environment. We now spend time doing the things we really enjoy doing like entertaining our guests and having a good time, walking, swimming, and travelling. In particular, Paula enjoys being creative; painting and making things like cakes for all occasions and loves catering, entertaining and cooking proper home-made dishes with fresh local ingredients. Andy enjoys outdoor interests; cycling, gardening, air rifle target shooting, archery, golf, fishing, and photography.

The property is located in the heart of the countryside but just 1 mile from the local town and 50 minutes from the glorious Pink Granite Coast, fabulous beaches and historic medieval towns, where you will find local markets and an abundance of shops and restaurants for all tastes and preferences. There is a large lake on the edge of the town, great for fishing, birdwatching (resident herons) insect spotting, walking, cycling and picnics. The town is equipped with shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, post office, pharmacy, hairdressers, cinema, night club and a train station. Neighbouring landmarks and nearby attractions include; Valley of the Saints, Gorge du Corong, Huelgoat national park, Amori park amusement park, and Lake Guerledan for water sports and leisure.
