Le Mirasol is, first and foremost, a human story : that of Thérèse and Gilles, a passionate couple who settled in the Cerdagne region 9 years ago and turned this apart-hotel restaurant into a true home away from home, where mountain hospitality is expressed in its most genuine form. The apartments, available with one or two bedrooms, have been designed as real cosy retreats, with breathtaking views over the Pyrenean peaks that make you want to stay. Each unit is fully self-contained so that you truly feel at home. What sets this place apart, beyond the views, is the restaurant. Gilles cooks for you a cuisine rooted in Catalan tradition — homemade, generous and deeply connected to the flavours of the region. In the dining room, Thérèse welcomes you as if you were family. Located in Enveitg, 3 km from the Spanish border and just 5 minutes from Puigcerdà, Le Mirasol is the perfect stopover on the road to Andorra — a stone's throw from the ski resorts of Font-Romeu, Porte-Puymorens and La Molina, the hiking trails of the Cerdagne and the iconic Petit Train Jaune.
We are Thérèse and Gilles. Nine years ago, we left everything behind to open this establishment in the Cerdagne, with a simple idea : to offer our guests what we love ourselves — a good meal, real comfort, and the Cerdagne. Gilles puts his whole heart into his cooking : local Catalan produce, carefully crafted recipes, everything homemade. Enveitg is a peaceful village in the Cerdagne, perfectly located for exploring the region in all its dimensions. Nature and outdoor activities are right on your doorstep : the ski resorts of Font-Romeu, Pyrénées 2000, Porte-Puymorens and La Molina on the Spanish side are all accessible in under 30 minutes. In summer, the Cerdagne reveals its finest hiking trails, mountain biking tracks and high-altitude lakes — including the unmissable Lac des Bouillouses. Puigcerdà, the capital of Spanish Cerdanya, is just 5 minutes away by car : market, shops, restaurants and a lively local atmosphere on both sides of the border. The Petit Train Jaune departs from Latour-de-Carol, just a few kilometres away — an unforgettable excursion for families and friends alike. Andorra is approximately one hour's drive — perfect for a shopping getaway or a day in the Andorran mountain resorts.
