We started our adventure as holiday rental owners with our cottage in the Vendée. We have rented this cottage as a Gite for 14 years and have had the best family holiday memories there. We loved having guests stay in the cottage and enjoy the area whilst creating memories. We sold it in December 2019. We now share the same enthusiasm for renting out our apartments in the Alps and offering guests the opportunity to have the best family holiday in the mountains...we want to share our experience with you again. We own a 2 bed apartment in the same building so if you want to come with friends and family, just ask for the details.
Property info
Petite Marmotte is our very spacious 34m2 studio in the upmarket Le Refuge du Montagnard residence in Arc 1950.
There are two comfortable twin beds, bunk beds, a well-equipped kitchen with dining table for 4, 4 armchairs for relaxing in front of the TV. There's Wi-Fi, cable TV and a superb view of Mont Blanc!
**The balcony is not currently accessible, but there is a large window that opens onto the outside.**
Renovated ski lockers, recently refurbished spa area with sauna and hammam and a large outdoor jacuzzi. Free access to an indoor swimming pool.
Please note that the opening and closing times of the swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna are from 10am to 8pm.
Underground car park (additional cost, payable directly to Effia Arc 1950).
The car park is equipped with two charging points for TESLA electric vehicles and one charging point for all types of electric vehicles.
Fresh sponges, dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid and cleaning products will be provided, as well as toilet paper for your arrival.
NOTE: Linen is not included in off-season and summer rentals. They can be hired on request.
Neighborhood info
The village of Arc 1950 is a unique pedestrian village concept with superb facilities and ski-in/ski-out access...from the boot room you have direct access to the piste...This is particularly easy with children as ski lessons with the ESF start from the village, with a maximum 3 minute walk to the meeting point for the little ones.
In summer there are plenty of activities for children, including daily events, and plenty of sporting activities for adults. The usual trekking and mountain biking, but also archery, tennis, paragliding... The scenery is magnificent and the outdoor pools are fun for the whole family too....
Arc 1950 has restaurants, a small supermarket and numerous shops. You can also visit the Arc 2000 shops by taking the free cable car that links them.
Arc 1950 is part of the Paradiski area, with 420km of pistes linking Les Arcs to La Plagne.
Getting to Arc 1950 from the airport
There are four airports from which you can travel:
Lyon Saint Exupéry: 205 km / 2 hours 35 minutes
Grenoble Saint Geoirs: 206 km / 2 hours 35 minutes by car
Chambéry - Aix: 125 km / 1 hour 50 minutes by car
Geneva: 202km / 2 hours 45 minutes by car
By car: A43 to Albertville, 2x2 lanes to Moûtiers, then the N90 to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, and finally the D119 to your destination. Covered pay parking is available.
The Ben's Bus shared transfer network includes buses from Geneva airport and Chambéry airport to Les Arcs. They stop at Les Arcs 1950. From Grenoble and Lyon airports, their shuttles go as far as Bourg-Saint-Maurice, the village at the foot of the mountain and the Les Arcs transport centre. Bourg-St-Maurice has a station with TGV and international services. A funicular links Bourg-St-Maurice to Arc 1600, from where there are free buses to Arc 1950.
