Unique first floor apartment right next to the 2000 year old roman bridge in Vaison la Romaine. Large living room with views up and down the river Ouvèze from the balcony on one side and the large window on the other. Fully equipped kitchen area and Smart TV with French and UK TV, Netflix, Prime, etc. Ample sized double bedroom with built in wardrobes. 2nd room for with table for study and storage. Bathroom with shower, WC, sink and washing machine and dryer.
Managed by Chris and Monique Tattersall, an Anglo-Luxembourg couple (now French), lived and worked all over Europe. Ex Chambre d’hôtes owners for 18 years. Speak English, French, German, Luxembourgish and some Dutch.
Medieval village, roman ruins, amphitheater and modern town. Apartment centrally located giving on to a lively main street with shops, boutiques and many restaurants. Many attractions (music, dance) in the summer months. South to the Côtes du Rhone wine domains of Visan, Roix, Rasteau, Sablet, Seguret (hilltop village, one of the most beautiful in France), Vacqueras, Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape, etc. 60 mins drive to Avignon and Nimes, 90 mins to Arles and the Carmargue, 50 mins to Pont du Gard. North to Nyons (20mins) and the Drome Provençal. Mediterranean 1h30. 30 mins by bike to the start of the northern climb of Mont Ventoux.
