We are a retired couple that are very relaxed about most things in life and we run a traditional Rural fully self contained Gite called the Cherries. The house is set in it's own private gardens with Cherry Trees Furs and fine foliage with flower beds and two tiers of garden. The paths are small stoned. Access is good for large vehicles. We pride ourselves on the quiet rural solitude and tranquility the cottage offers to those who stay. All you have to do is unwind relax and let the place take you over. The Gite is fully fitted out with a full kitchen with all mod cons and a lovely lounge area with TV sat DVD CD heating etc should you need it and boiling hot water with a jet shower. Since using the Flynet it looks a little like a wedding chamber but don't let that put you off as the double upstairs bed windows gives a great view. Altogether we think its a wonderful place to stay as you will find. We have just installed a new WI FI system for the Gite and we are going to offer a Spa Pool in the Summer.

We are retired and from the Midlands in the UK Both ex artists ,Andrew in the performing arts and Roz still pursuing a career in jewellery design and model making and miniature sculptures. We enjoy the peace and quiet of our house and gite and take great pleasure in the nurturing of the gardens. We are friendly and approachable while at the same time allowing our guests privacy and a relaxing and tranquil time.

Houehdeu is approached by a private 220 metre small roadway which turns off the quiet country road that connects us to the village of Naizin in the Evellys commune. Naizin boasts two bars , a top class bakery [boulangerie] a butcher, a small grocery shop selling wine , beer etc and a charming creperie restaurant. Naizin is situated between Pontivy to the North and Locmine to the South, both scenic and picturesque centres .Guests have commented on the central position of our location as being very convenient for other points of interest ,such as Josselin, Auray,,Vannes Rennes ,rohan and of course , the famous Gulf of Morbihan. Carnac and the Quiberon peninsula are approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour away .....well worth visiting.
