Sleeping arrangements include: • One king-size bed • One double bed • One spacious twin room — ideal for families or groups All beds are made with high-quality 100% cotton linens (Egyptian or Perceval cotton), and towels and sheets are laundered at 60°C to ensure excellent hygiene. The home is carpet-free — a great choice for guests with allergies. The kitchen is bright and fully equipped, the cosy TV lounge includes a piano, and the private courtyard offers loungers and a large dining table — perfect for breakfast, leisurely lunches, or evening apéros under the stars.

The UNESCO-listed village of Saint-Émilion — one of our guests’ favourite day trips — is approximately 120 km (75 miles) away. The world-renowned Bordeaux vineyards are also within reach, offering a rich variety of wine tours and tastings. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the Atlantic coast is just 70–90 km (43–56 miles) from Cognac. In just over an hour, you can reach the sandy beaches and surf towns of Royan, La Palmyre, and the picturesque islands of Île de Ré and Île d’Oléron — perfect for a refreshing day by the sea. Shops, cafés, and restaurants are all within easy walking distance from the house, making it an ideal base for couples, families, or groups
