In 2018, then educational engineers in a large audiovisual group, Delphine and I made the choice to leave Parisian life to settle, with our two youngest children, in the calm of the sunny Occitan countryside and set up a guest house. The Aveyron, the Ségala and the proximity of the river Tarn were quickly at the heart of our search. This old farmhouse, to be completely renovated, was a real coup de coeur: "at the very end" of a hilly road, in the direct vicinity of a town on a human scale, on a 4000 m² plot of land, in a typical area with high gastronomic added value. We have done everything possible to ensure that you will spend relaxing moments in a pleasant setting, from the swimming pool to culture. This house is the result of three years of renovation work. We look forward to welcoming you.

"Tout au bout du chemin" is a guest house opened in July 2022, owned by Fabien and Delphine, which offers two independent accommodations. The property is located in the heart of the Aveyron hilly countryside, at the foot of the Causses, on the border between Aveyron and Tarn. We offer a green setting, relaxation and comfort: swimming pool and beach, bowling green, pergola and summer lounge, trampoline and activities for children, sports trail, etc.

The house is therefore located "at the end of the road", in the hamlet of Saint-Laurent, 2 kilometres from the centre of Réquista, a small town of about 2,000 inhabitants. The Aveyron department is home to ten of the most beautiful villages in France, including the famous medieval village of Brousse-le-Château. From Réquista, the medieval castles of the Aveyron valley, the bastides of Rouergue, Larzac and the Aubrac plateau are easily accessible. "Tout au bout du chemin" is only a few kilometres from the banks of the Tarn, ideal for picnics and family walks. The historic mining area of Carmaux-Cagnac will tempt you to make a diversion after your visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Episcopal City of Albi and its Cathedral of Sainte-Cécile - a 45-minute drive away.
