After a career spent in industry in Paris, I decided to change my horizons, to settle on the Arcachon bay and to open an establishment allowing me to share with my guests and make them discover this wonderful region. I thus return to my first love: welcoming tourists. Of Scottish origin through my mother, born in Reading near London UK - no one is perfect :), and bathed by this double culture, I love meeting people from all walks of life and sharing moments in all kindness.

Located in Taussat-Les-Bains in the heart of the Bassin d'Arcachon, between Pyla-sur-mer, Arcachon and Cap Ferret, Villa Glen-Tara offers you a stay where calm, simplicity and conviviality will punctuate your days. Just 150m from the beach and in the centre of a preserved village, everything is made easy for you to spend a peaceful stay. Just 2 km from Andernos-les-Bains, a seaside resort easily accessible by secure cycle paths, you can enjoy the local entertainment, stroll through the shopping streets, relax on the beach, sail on the basin or taste the seafood. You can discover the region on foot, by boat, by bike... from Biscarosse to Lacanau, from Arcachon to the Cap Ferret peninsula, via Bordeaux, and take advantage of the many activities: the Dune du Pilat, paragliding, bird parks, aquaparks, majestic beaches, Gironde castles, oyster farming culture...
