You’ll have easy access to all the shops in Saint-Michel: a mini-market, bakery, butcher’s, bar-tobacconist’s, restaurants, Tourist Office, hairdresser’s and chemist’s. Things to do: - Explore the Marais Poitevin, on foot or by bike, along the many signposted trails that wind through marshes, canals and unspoilt countryside - Visit the former Royal Abbey of Saint-Michel-en-l’Herm, one of the oldest abbeys in the Marais Poitevin, in the heart of the village - Make the most of the Vendée cycle paths to reach La Tranche-sur-Mer, the marshes or the surrounding villages Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park for free near the house.
