1 The Croft is situated on the bank of the River Cocker, just 5 minutes walk from Cockermouth town centre. This cottage is ideally located to explore both the Lake District National Park and Solway Coast area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property is 2 bedroom with one bedroom having a Double bed and the other having the choice of 2 singles or a Superking bed.

Best known as being the birthplace of both William Wordsworth and Fletcher Christian (of Mutiny on the Bounty fame) Cockermouth offers visitors a good selection of independent shops, cafe’s, restaurants and pubs and a small market on Fridays. It even has its own golf club!
