Your hosts are Neil and Dorothy, we live at Achmelvich and are on hand to help with any information or problems, we have a number of different hobbies including Sailing, Diving, fishing and walking, and love living in Assynt, we will do our best to make sure you enjoy your holiday.

Selkie Cabin is ground floor apartment, sitting in its own grounds is open plan with a king size bed, kitchenette area, wet room and sitting room area . It also has a BBQ and elevated decking area . The Cabin has recently been fitted with 4g Broadband. Selkie Cabin is situated overlooking a beautiful sea loch, Loch Roe with its resident seal colony , with the most stunning view out towards the mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.

Selkie Cabin is situated, a short distance (5 mins walk) from one of the finest beaches in Scotland, Achmelvich with its pristine white sand, and turquoise waters, it gives you access to the beach and this beautiful area with the bonus of being set away from the camp sites in its own fenced off garden, its elevated position gives you glorious views over Loch Roe and the stunning mountains of Assynt. Selkie is roughly four miles drive from the Village of Lochinver where a selection of restaurants and two local stores and local shops for you to spend some time browsing around them. It is truly a magical place.
