A beautiful 1860s cottage with a warm, homely feel, thoughtfully modernised while retaining its original character and quaint cottage charm. In the warmer months, you can enjoy fresh airflow through the traditional stable doors, while in the colder season, you can settle in beside the cosy wood-burning stove. The living space offers a relaxing retreat, with a comfortable sofa and recliner armchair, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the surrounding area. Outside, the property benefits from a dog-friendly garden with attractive rattan furniture, ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet of the village. There is also a charming courtyard space where you can relax with a morning coffee or an evening drink. The cottage features a main bedroom and a smaller second bedroom, typically arranged with a single bed suitable for an adult guest. An additional full-size single bed can be provided if required; however, please note the room becomes more compact when configured for two adults and may be more comfortable for children. A pop-up cot is also available for use in the double bedroom, making the property suitable for families with young children. Note: Dogs are not to go on any soft furnishings or on the beds
As someone who travels widely, I’ve drawn on the best experiences from my journeys to thoughtfully shape this space, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay for every guest.
Earsham is a peaceful village, home to a welcoming local pub just 150 metres away, along with a nearby café and a volunteer-run village shop for everyday essentials—though please be sure to check opening times. A short walk or drive takes you into the historic market town of Bungay, where you’ll find a castle, along with a great selection of pubs, restaurants, food stores, a supermarket, and independent cafés to enjoy.
