Ralph Lodge is a disabled accessible 4 bedroom (sleeps up to 8 people) barn conversion walking distance from Beamish Museum. It is a beautifully furnished barn set in the open countryside. We are in between Durham & Newcastle, both only 20 minutes away. We are close to the A1M, perfectly located for a North East Visit. Included are, Nescafé Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Wifi, bed linen, towels, hairdryer heating/water and welcome pack. We have an EV car charger that can be used for a set fee

Beamish is steeped in history as an old mining village. We have the world famous Beamish Museum within walking distance. We have 5 pubs and restaurants within walking distance including a fabulous Italian and Indian restaurant. We sit in the middle of Newcastle and Durham so both big cities are accessible. The town of Stanley is a mile away by car where there are supermarkets, post office, butcher etc There is a very famous bike route which takes you all the way to the coast as well as many dog walks. There is a bus station at the end of the road which can take you to most destinations. We have a train station (chester le street) 4 miles away.
