We welcome you to Abhaig, our home and small B&B. We hope you enjoy the beautiful rural location and our hospitality. We are located in North Skye, 14 miles from the islands capital Portree and in a very peaceful setting with beautiful views, also just on the doorstep of some of Skye's best areas of natural beauty (Quiraing, Fairy Glen, Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock). The house itself is traditional, but modernised and up to date, we have a pretty garden. We offer a lovely room in the main house plus a luxurious stand-alone suite (or Bothy) just footsteps from the Main house. Foodies are very welcome here, Viv loves to cook superb breakfasts and we are also known for our fantastic picnics on request! Please note we have pets (cat and dog) in the house, in fact we run a small dog home boarding business from the home, so total separation can be unavoidable at times. Being animal friendly as guests is a real bonus! We have parking on site and are within walking distance (30mins) or a short drive from the village of Uig. Please note we unsuitable for those with mobility issues due to steps and stairs in and around the property.
We really appreciate communication with each guest, we are all about the personal touch. So please send us a message and stay in touch before your arrival. In turn we can let you know all about the food we do, advise on things to see and do in the area. Looking forward to hosting you in our small boutique B&B.
The township of Earlish is rural, within crofting countryside. Its a quiet setting with lovely views. There are no street lights, is a good spot to view the Aurora Borealis or Northern lights. We only have a couple of other houses nearby, so it is private and relaxing.
