Hi there, thanks for looking at our page. We welcome guests from 6 until 9:30pm. It is a Bed and Breakfast not a hotel and we have converted the ground floor into three bedrooms, two double with ensuite showers and one treble with its own bathroom off the hallway. You will have your own front door and a key to get into your room. The family live upstairs - all the rooms are pretty quiet. The internet is good but mobile reception lousy, so do turn on internet calling. Continental breakfast - cereals, juice, bread, milk, butter and jams is provided in a fridge in your room. If you prefer a Full English or Kedgeree or Salmon and Scrambled Egg or Eggs Benedict we need 24 hours' notice and there is a charge. Any suggestions you have regarding improvements are really welcome - remember we don't sleep in the rooms so depend on you to help us make improvements, for example, should we get better tv's or bedside carpet etc? There are a few 2-hour bays and as we are on the edge of town the traffic wardens are often patrolling, we know of a perfect parking place just 5 minutes away so please ask and we will tell you where it is.

Charlotteville is a quiet suburb overlooking Guildford Town and quite high up on beautiful Downs which are wonderful to explore on foot or by bike. There is a bus service (No. 23) which stops outside the house, London Road Station is a 15 minute level walk while the Mainline Station is a 30 minute walk. If you need a lift or help to call a cab please ask us. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the top of the High Street which is vibrant with restaurants and cafe's. The closest eatery (8 mins) is Blue Sardinia - a family run high end Italian, and in Swan Lane is Cambio Marcia - exceptional too and Positano in Tunsgate, March Hare is just around the corner and our favourite Indian is Maloncho at the bottom of our hill the most local pubs is is the R Bar just around the corner with quiz nights every Tuesday. There is a new Korean Barbecue restaurant which seems popular in the Upper High Street
