Beach House Mundesley is a self catering holiday home (where you rent the whole house rather than a room) in a truly unrivalled position, overlooking the fabulous golden beach in Mundesley, North Norfolk. We have the best sea views in the village! Literally opposite the house are the 15 steps down to the beach. This is probably what people love most about the house, the amazing location and when its busy in the summer its an ideal location for going up and down to the beach. The house sleeps 16 people in 7 bedrooms and has a hot tub and sauna room which overlooks the suntrap garden. Opposite the house is a great dining pub, called The Ship who will be happy to welcome you. Our reserved parking area is in the carpark of The Ship. Beach House Mundesley is absolutely ideal as a location for a birthday weekend with friends and family, or of course a summer holiday (we do weekly bookings only in the summer holidays), we are open all year round for weekends and also decorate the house beautifully for Christmas and New Year. We welcome non-rowdy Hen groups who are happy to abide by some house rules regarding noise outside! Sadly we can't take Stag groups. We've been welcoming guests here for 19 years. The house is personally managed by us, and we are 10 minutes away should you need anything.
We are a family living in Cromer, we have been running our small business, Beach House Mundesley personally for the last 19 years. We like to make sure our guests have everything they could need for a fabulous relaxing stay. Please ask if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable.
The beautiful beach is opposite us. Mundesley is a quiet but thriving traditional Norfolk village but we have lovely local shops (butcher, baker, second hand bookshop, gift shop, post office, greengrocer) and a Tesco Local open from early to late and a few really great takeaway shops & restaurants. We are a short drive from the famous Gunton Arms, also their sister pub, the Suffield Arms with tapas and a cocktail bar. We are also just a short drive away from trendy Cromer with its pier and thriving town life with lots of lovely restaurants and bars. If you are into historical National Trust houses you will be close to Felbrigg hall and Blickling Hall. If you are looking for an activity for children, Bewilderwood is extremely popular. In Sheringham there is a vintage railway which hosts a 1940's weekend every year which is fabulous if you love getting dressed up and partying like its 1945 all over again!
