The shepherds hut is in the heart of Newmarket stud lands, just minutes away from the town centre and the famous Newmarket racecourse, yet set in its own private garden. 15 minutes from Cambridge, with Ely and Bury St Edmunds only a short drive away. This is a great spot to explore the local area, visit the famous Tattersalls horse sales, enjoy a day/evening at the races or just totally chill out and relax. There are some amazing places to eat and drink locally with lots of choice for everyone.
The shepherds hut is situated in the heart of Newmarket Studlands, if you like horses you are in for a treat. The views are amazing, there is very little light pollution so the stars at night are pretty spectacular. It’s lovely to snuggle up on the outside sofa, enjoy a tipple keeping warm around the fire pit. During the day there are lots of things to see and do. Cycling is also great here with lots of beautiful rides and walks nearby.
