Steve who is 57 years young was raised in the family home at New Farm House in Holme Marsh Lyonshall. Back in the day it was a vibrant 60 acre farm, now however it has been reduced to 7 acres. Steve found his love of furniture building and started his own business building and selling 4 poster beds around the world, many of which went to Hollywood film stars and Rock Legends. His onsite workshops showcase his talents. Steve has personally hand crafted ll of our cabins, the newest addition being a superbly renovated horse box...named Ox Box. I defy anybody to not have the perfect nights sleep in one of our cabins.

Escape the madness and immerse yourself in nature at our beautiful handcrafted cabin, set in the stunning Herefordshire countryside. Inside we have a fully equipped kitchen which holds everything that is needed. There is a mains fridge, kettle and toaster. A single gas hob is available for cooking. The water supply is located beneath the sink and can be refilled from the tap at the end of the ladies' toilet block. Water and lights are run from solar battery. The super king sized bed and 2 single beds are situated on a platform above the dining and kitchenette areas. The beds can be reached by climbing the vertical ladders… first few attempts may be challenging … so it would help being a little nimble. There is also a small gap between the super king sized bed and the singles. To ensure the safety of children please make sure that they are well supervised. Due to this factor we have applied an age restriction of 0 - 10. Spend the cooler nights tucked up inside enjoying the warm glow of the wood burner or take in the smoky scent of the outside BBQ/fire pit on balmy evenings. Please ensure that you bring fire starter kit and logs A torch is provided however it is advisable that you bring another with you. Separate showers and toilet facilities are within a few yards of the cabin. Please ensure that you bring your own towels. Step outside to your private seating area where you can relax by the firepit - perfect for BBQ's -under the stars. For something extra special, take the canoe out onto the pond and soak in the tranquility. Explore the many scenic walking trails nearby, including part of the famous Offa's Dyke Path. Visit Hereford for its stunning Cathedral, the historic Black & White house, and charming local boutiques. Enjoy a cosy drink at the local pub in Lyonshall or indulge in delicious meals at one of Kington's welcoming pubs. A true countryside escape - perfect for unwinding, reconnecting with nature, and making unforgettable memories.
