stylish bed and breakfast in mainland Scotland’s most northerly town, Bed and Breakfast at 4 in Thurso enjoys a town centre location just 5 minutes’ drive from the ferry to Orkney. It offers free parking and Wi-Fi, plus a TV lounge and garden. Each room has en suite bathroom facilities with shower or bath and complementary toiletries. There is a flat-screen TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee facilities in all rooms. Breakfast is served in the light and spacious conservatory, using locally sourced produce where possible. Directly across the road there are tennis courts. rackets are available for the use of house guests. There is a gym and swimming pool less than 1 mile away. The county of Caithness has facilities for many outdoor activities including fishing, golf, surfing and other water-sports. Less than 10 minutes’ walk from Thurso Train Station, Bed and Breakfast at 4 is within easy reach of the town’s restaurants, pubs and shops. Ferries to the Orkney Islands leave from nearby Scrabster with a crossing time of around 1.5 hours.
Being a local Thurso person I have some knowledge of the town and surrounding county. I also have some very interesting books and information available for the guests use.
Bed and Breakfast at 4 offers a superb town centre location in Thurso, Caithness, for both tourists and business people alike and there are a fine choice of bars and restaurants on the door step Within 5 minutes walking distance of the B&B there are fabulous views of Dunnet Head (the most northerly point on the Scottish mainland) and The Orkney Isles. During the winter months you may be lucky enough to view the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).
