Set just 10 minutes’ drive from Ennerdale Water on the famous Coast to Coast Walk, the Ennerdale Country House Hotel is a Grade II listed building nestled within 5 acres of tranquil landscaped gardens and Italian fountains. The hotel is filled with charming original and the beautiful hallways feature painstakingly restored original fireplaces and ceilings. The attractive and well-appointed bedrooms with attached bathroom are individually designed and all include a seating area, tea and coffee making facilities and an private bathroom. The Fountain Room Restaurant overlooking the landscaped gardens offers an extensive a la carte menu. Room service is also available. The Ennerdale Country House Hotel has free parking and is 10 minutes’ drive from St Bees. Muncaster Castle and Gardens are 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel.
