Based on the beautiful North Coast of Scotland in the Scottish Highlands and directly on the NC500 route, is Borlum House, a lovingly restored 1700’s farm house in the sleepy little village of Reay. As well as Borlum House, we have our stunning Lodge, Annex and Bothy Barn, all of which have been recently renovated. We have been running our luxury accommodations since 2018 and welcoming guests from all over the world. We look forward to welcoming you!

Borlum House is the height of boutique countryside luxury, recently modernised to an exceptionally high standard. There are 5 bedrooms in total, three Super-king bedrooms that are warm and cosy, one even has a TV bed, the other two bedrooms have double beds, all with Hypnos mattresses, beautiful linens and gorgeous snuggly robes. Embroidered fluffy towels, luxurious toiletries from The Highland Soap Company and a power shower to invigorate you after a long day out in the fresh air are included with the three bathrooms, one of which is downstairs. There is a very large farmhouse style kitchen, fully equipped and with all the modern necessities to make you feel at home - included is Coffee Machine with a selection of Pods, Cereals, a selection of Jams, Fruit bowl, Biscuits, usual Tea and Coffee selection. There are two beautiful lounges, both of which have log burners to keep you nice and cosy while drinking your hot toddy's. Equipped with all modern necessities with electric oven and hobs, microwave, kettle, dishwasher and washer/dryer - all free for you to use throughout your stay with us. We provide a free net of logs for the log burners as well as all soaps, shampoos and a bookcase full of games, books and local information. Wi-fi is also available. There is also a private garden for your very own use with a cosy seating area around a fire pit with a purpose built BBQ. Perfect for any evening during your stay!
