Lovely clean place, we stayed for work, 5 men, and we all had our own beds and space. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. The local pub just a short walk was also kind and welcoming. The property has every you need for your stay.

The cottage was converted in 2012 from outbuildings near the main category II listed building dating back to the 17th century. Consisting of entrance hall, kitchen/diner and living room on ground floor, then upstairs to two twin rooms and shower room. Two twin bedrooms have roof lights giving views of fields to rear as do the windows in the kitchen and living room. Extra sleeping is available with two twin sofa beds in the living room. Complimentary pack available on arrival.
From Nottingham, an IT professional, involved in many groups including Rotary, male voice choir, community library, good neighbour scheme, and bell ringers. Our house is directly opposite the cottage so we are on hand if you have any problems, questions or requests.
The cottage is only a couple of minutes walk from the village centre with shops, restaurants, takeaways and pubs. We are in a tranquil conservation area that is part of the village with a small river and ford forming part of the Lane on which we live. There are national cycle routes close by and plenty of country walks. The village has a bus service during weekdays and is on the Nottingham to Skegness Poacher line for the trains giving access to mainline services from Grantham (East Coast Line) and Nottingham (Central Line).
