Cornwall’s coolest coastal spot, Newlyn is a historic port with a thriving fishing industry where traditional Cornish life mixes with art, culture and a contemporary food scene. Standing in the heart of the town and within a couple of minutes’ walk from the seafront, Bridge House is an original stone cottage that has been beautifully renovated to offer guests the perfect place for holidays in Newlyn. Set over two floors with its three bedrooms and family bathroom upstairs, this lovely property has ample space for six guests. A stunning flagstone floor and exposed ceiling beams grace the ground floor where a cosy living room offers a comfy spot for relaxation, and a large dining room with quirky window seat is where meals and conversation can be shared. The separate kitchen has been tastefully refurbished and kitted out to offer all you’ll need for home cooking, and the back door leads to a walled courtyard where beach gear, wetsuits, boards and bikes can be stored. *The cottage has a fantastic central position on Creeping Lane which is opposite the main road that runs from Newlyn to Penzance **Please note that the bunk beds are for children only, the top bunk bed is unsuitable for children under the age of 6 years old

The intimate Italian Bridge Bar and Brasserie is just around the corner and here you can enjoy a fusion of fresh local seafood and traditional Italian flavours. Closer still, Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar (and Shack just a couple of doors down) lies across the road so if you fancy indulging in the freshest and most local produce, either to eat in or take away, this is the place! Stock up on seasonal fruit, veg and freshly baked bread from The Little Green Grocer around the corner, or hop over the small historic bridge opposite the property and visit the independent Riverbank Gallery which showcases and sells arts, jewellery and crafts from local artisans. The fabulous Argoe is 7 minutes’ walk down to the harbourside, while Tolcarne Inn is just down the road, right next to Newlyn’s sea wall and offers a superb seafood dining experience which is perfect for a special occasion or treat…and if you’d like to burn off dessert, from here you can stroll the completely flat section of the South West Coast Path which leads to Stock up on seasonal fruit, veg and freshly baked bread from The Little Green Grocer around the corner, or hop over the small historic bridge opposite the property and visit the independent Riverbank Gallery which showcases and sells arts, jewelry and crafts from local artisans.
