Welcome to Bumblebee Cottage, a charming space in Crich, Derbyshire. Nestled in a picturesque village, it offers a tranquil escape for those seeking relaxation and exploration. It is a perfect base for a cozy retreat for two. The property is thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable memorable stay. Pets are welcome at this property and enjoy an evening in front of the log burner. The Cottage sleeps 2 in a king size bed, has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom featuring a bath and shower. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. The cottage has undergone a full renovation and is a luxury character property in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire village of Crich. It is located in the Peak District. Please note due to shared access the outside space is not secure. The cottage is deceptively spacious inside. There is a lounge, bedroom kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped for those wanting to cook at home. There is a smart tv in both the lounge and bedroom as well as unlimited fast wifi. Living Room: The living room boasts a solid oak parquet floor and feature fireplace with log burner. There is a 3 seater sofa and large comfortable armchair. We have a number of books, DVD’s and board games for entertainment. Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with an oven, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is a small breakfast bar with space for two to eat. Please note that the stairs lead directly from the kitchen and are narrow and steep. King sized Bedroom: The bedroom is spacious and has a luxurious king size bed and stunning countryside views. There is a large wardrobe, chest of drawers, smart tv and hairdryer. We also provide an iron, ironing board and safe. Bathroom: The bathroom has a double ended free standing bath and walk in rainfall shower with handheld shower attachment. Outdoor space: There is a small outside space located down a few steps. This a paved patio area with table and two chairs and small BBQ.

The Cottage is a 2 minute flat walk to the central market place with plenty of great amenities. The village of Crich has a well stocked local shop that is open 7 days a week until late, a great butchers shop with top quality local produce and a fish and chip shop, well known for it's excellent fresh food. There is an artisan bakery with a lovely cafe, an excellent Indian restaurant and great pub which also serves food. There is a small post office and hair and beauty salon. The Crich Tramway Village is a very popular local attraction and all these amenities are only a short walk from the cottage. The nearest area of grassed space is Crich Recreation ground which is approximately 5 minutes walk from the cottage. The terraced garden area is not enclosed. There is plenty of free on street parking. Crich is on a local bus route to a number of surrounding towns including Matlock. Local Attractions: - visit the famous Crich Tramway Museum and take a step back in time to ride the teams costing a old penny. - head over to Matlock Bath and catch a cable car across the valley at the Heights of Abraham - Visit the Sherwood foresters Regiment Memorial dedicated to soldiers in WW1 and WW2 - Visit the White Peak Distillery in Belper and see how whiskey is produced in the first full scale craft distillery in the Peak District And so much more!
