“This is a great location for Giants Causeway, but also the entire dramatic coastline. The local bus runs along the coast opening up many hikes of any length. Bushmills has everything you need from restaurants to take out to pubs.”

My husband and I own and operate Bush House Accommodation in Bushmills. You an find us on Facebook and Instagram where you can see the renovation work that we recently completed to get the accommodation into order for your stay. We are parents to two crazy children and they keep us very busy when we are not working or organizing the Bush House Accommodation bookings etc. We both love the outdoors and are often found distance running, swimming or boating around the Causeway coast.

We bought the accommodation in July 2014 and have slowly been renovating the premises since. We worked with a local architects firm and local builders, Gary and Sammy McConaghy, to restore the rooms from messy and unloved shells to the comfy and cozy rooms we have today. 5 years after we started (it took a looooong time) we opened the rooms in July 2019, just in time for The Open Golf. The Bush House Accommodation was a former hotel and coach house, last operating over 40 years ago, therefore very fitting that we have restored it for its proper purpose.

Bushmills is a relatively quiet location with lots of great places to eat, drink and visit. It is a very convenient base for the North Coast of Northern Ireland and very close to The Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, The Open Golf Venue 2019 and many great beaches and gorgeous scenery.
