Brilliant location, very central. Very communicative host, answers promptly and was very helpful. Apartment itself was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. We were a little worried about the noise as the main bedroom looks out over the front of a pub but we stayed on a Saturday in the summer and there wasn't much more than a few voices to be heard occasionally. Nothing to prevent sleep.

We liked everything about this apartment. It's cosy, warm, spotlessly clean, everything is thought out to the details. All the recommendations left in the welcoming basket were brilliant. The location is perfect, close to everything. The kitchen has everything you need even for a longer stay. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone, I think it's the most comfortable apartment we've ever stayed in during our journeys. Best compliments to the owner.

Everything was super clean. The owner put a lot of attention to details, making sure guests have a great stay. For example, the wifi password is displayed at the doorstep, in case guests need a connection to check their messages on Booking for the check in instructions. Very thoughtful. The complimentary breakfast was a great touch too. Very well fitted kitchen for those who want to cook as well.

Except for the first weekend when there was a music festival on which meant parking was full and restaurants and pubs were fully booked it was a pleasant place to be and was a good jumping off point for exploring the Causeway Coast and visiting Rathlin Island although the latter was fully booked so need to book well in advance

Ballycastle is extremely crowded during the high season,...

Ballycastle is extremely crowded during the high season, which in itself is not really a problem. However, there are simply not enough places to eat in the evening. Also, avoid Marconi's Bar & Bistro at the Marine Hotel. Despite the website advertising à la carte dining, we were only offered a disappointing buffet. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to eat there because all other restaurants were fully booked

Its a happy place for my wife and son and I and we try to go every spring or summer. As with everything these days it does get costlier but we love the North coast especially Ballycastle and Rathlin Island.
