The accommodation is set over 3 floors, with the top floor containing a light and airy bedroom with a king sized bed and an en-suite shower room. The first floor has 3 further bedrooms, one of which has another king size bed, the next contains twin beds and the last room has a single bed with a pull-out trundle bed that can be set up for an eighth guest. There is also a large and beautifully appointed main bathroom with a shower, bath and twin sinks. There's an enclosed back garden and to the front is a large driveway which can accommodate at least three cars. An EV charging point is available on a pay for what you use basis. You can easily walk into the centre of the town in around 15 minutes (it's less than a mile from the front door).
I live locally and like to pop round to welcome guests personally. I'll then leave you to enjoy the house but am always on hand if needed.
Southwell is a beautiful, bustling market town with lots of attractions, both in the town itself and the surrounding area. The Southwell Minster is a must visit and the National Trust Workhouse is about a 20 minute walk from the house along the Southwell Trail - a lovely trail that follows the line of the old railway. Sherwood Forest is a short drive away, as is Rufford Abbey and Country Park - both personal favourites! There's a play park just 2 minutes across the road from the house, which is great for young children. The corner shop is a 5 minute walk away and another few minutes brings you into the centre of Southwell where you'll find the Minster and a number of independent shops, pubs, cafes and take-aways, which the town is well known for.
