Andrew and Bridget Archibald drove past the old Victorian School on the edge of the Shouldham Green one day. It was boarded up and ready for sale. Acquired a year later through an auction they set about converting it into what it is today. Full of character and artefacts picked up from at home and abroad it provides a feast of colour and interest. Andrew is a trained chef and cooks up delicious breakfasts winning an award from Visit England. They look forward to welcoming you to this special place in West Norfolk and helping you to relax and explore.

Three quality en-suite bed and breakfast rooms in the Chalk and Cheese on The Green Shouldham. Set in a converted Victorian primary school we provide a comfortable and welcoming stay. The nearby King's Arms community owned pub provides a pub and restaurant within walking distance. There are lots of great local places to visit such as Sandringham, the moated Oxburgh Hall and the North Norfolk Coast. In the village itself there are walks across fields and into forestry commission land.
