Church Farm is situated at the end of a quiet lane just off the centre of the village. Up until the 1980's the farm was a small working dairy farm with a herd of just 16 Friesian cows. The grass fields surrounding the farmhouse are still let for summer grazing and provide pasture for either sheep or cows and their calves. Whilst the old stable buildings are almost as original, the farmhouse has been recently renovated and provides comfortable accommodation for 4-5 people in an idyllic and quiet location. Downstairs there is a utility room, kitchen diner , a small sitting room (both with log burners) whilst up the narrow stepped staircase there are two double bedrooms as well as a single bedroom and a family bathroom with shower and bath. It is a perfect spot to just relax and enjoy the small quiet cottage garden or an ideal base to explore the local countryside and coastline. Dogs are welcome strictly by prior arrangement and a small additional charge will apply.

Paula and Paul renovated the cottage in 2016 and look forward to meeting you at this quiet and relaxing location. We spend quite a few hours looking after the cottage garden and hope you can find some time to just to sit and relax beneath the apple trees.

The village of Legbourne is situated on the edge of the green and beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have a well stocked village store as well as the Queens Head Restaurant and Bar. The neighbouring village of Little Cawthorpe is a short walk away, the two being joined by the 'beck', a stream of clear fresh spring water which leads to the 'Splash' and the Royal Oak Pub. The local Market Town of Louth is just 3.5 miles away and holds an open market on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday as well as a regular cattle market which serves the local farming community. Cadwell Park motor racing circuit is 6 miles away and Market Rasen Racecourse is 15 miles away with both having busy racing calendars throughout the season. We are 8 miles from the coast which has a number of quiet beaches as well as the towns of Mablethorpe, Sutton on Sea and Skegness all which have been awarded Blue Flag Status. The Cathedral town of Lincoln, with it's Castle which houses a Victorian Prison and a copy of the Magna Carta is 30 miles away. There is also a variety of major retailers and independent boutiques lining the cobbled streets of Bailgate.
