Portree is a 15-minute drive away, where we recommend a walk at the Lump or Scorrybraec, a coffee at Birch and a pizza at Gasta. Our prime dinner recommendation is at Stein Inn on Waternish - a fantastic traditional pub serving excellent seafood. In the immediate area around the house there are several great walks, inclduing along the River Snizort at Skaebost.
