Cnoc Ard is a traditional property located in the coastal village of Scourie in North West Sutherland. The property is situated in a quiet location and would make an ideal base for exploring this part of Scotland including Handa Island, a reserve run by the Scottish Wildlife Trust. The property has been tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. The living room and kitchen are open plan. The living room has modern leather sofas and a flat screen TV with DVD and also benefits from a wood burner, the exposed stonework being a particular striking feature. The kitchen has all the usual appliances and a good range of crockery and equipment. The main bathroom is also located on this level and has a bath, ideal for relaxing in after a day walking in the surrounding hills.
There are many fine walks to be had in the area, from easy, relaxed strolls around the coast, to more strenuous inland walks and hill climbing. These include visits to Handa Island, Foindle, Fanagmore and Tarbet, Glen Dubh and Maldie Falls, Sandwood Bay, Faraid Head, Cape Wrath, Ben Arkle, Ben Stack, Quinag, and many, many more!
