Comfy House is a Tourist Board certified Bed and Breakfast (continental style) property which provides a cosy and comfortable stay on Northern Ireland's North Coast. It is a small homely property which has one bedroom available to guests. It is located in a quiet development within a short walking or driving distance to local amenities and attractions. The bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe, chair and dressing table, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. A travel cot is available on request. A continental breakfast is provided which includes, a choice of cereal, bread with jams, chocolate spread and butter, fruit, orange juice and tea and coffee. Breakfast is available in the kitchen. The living room is available to guests. There is a TV, DVDs, and a good range of books. An enclosed, south facing garden with patio table and chairs is also available for quests use. Smoking is not permitted in the house. There is one bathroom upstairs with a shower and a downstairs toilet available for guests. There is gas heating throughout which provides instant heat and hot water. Safe off-street parking.

We are a married couple with two grown up children who have now flown the nest. We have been hosting since 2016 and enjoy meeting guests from across the world. Before Covid, we had begun to see many returning guests. Passing on suggestions for restaurants, walks, beaches is something we love to do and has provided our quests with a great stay in Portstewart. Our property is ideally situated for exploring the North Coast or easy driving distance to Donegal. Bus, Taxi and Train services are convenient. Enjoy your day walking and exploring nearby tourist attractions, such as, super beaches, the Giants Causeway, North Coast, Ulster Way Walks and returning to a homely environment where you can relax indoors or outdoors. Comfy house is within walking distance to Portstewart Strand, Portstewart town and local restaurants. It is within a 10 minute drive to Portrush or Coleraine town centre. There are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby. We are happy to provide quests with information regarding local walking routes, cycle routes, eating places or carry out services, Laundry services, taxi services and local golf, fishing or canoeing, swimming and surfing activities.
