Common Farmhouse sits within beautiful countryside with amazing trees, wildlife and views in all directions. Our small farm sits in 5 acres and was a working farm until 2012 after which the site sat unoccupied until our arrival in early 2017. We have done a lot of work getting the site into shape and have tried to be as sympathetic as possible in this process. The farmhouse has a traditional clay tile floor throughout the ground floor, perfect for our dog loving guests. The lounge is comfortably appointed, traditionally decorated with subdued lighting. The only real nod to present day is the large screen TV. A large well appointed kitchen is just through the hallway which also leads out onto your own private garden with decking area to sit and while away a lovely evening with a glass of something nice. There is a barbecue in the garden for guests use with complimentary charcoal, firelighters etc. There is a downstairs loo just off the lounge and a handy utility area with sink which is great for dog owners and all of their necessary paraphernalia. This room also has a washing machine and necessary detergents etc if required. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. One master bedroom which also has a large bath and two smaller bedrooms. All bedrooms have a double bed, the main also has a sofabed which is suitable for one person. The bathroom on the first floor serves all three bedrooms with lockable doors to preserve privacy. This room has a large shower, loo and sink as well as a large bank of towels. We have fabulous fibre broadband even though we are quite remote so don't worry about not being connected. We have a little library of books and DVD's and lots of games for young and old so you'll never get bored. Our two goats, Jasper and Nelson are also very happy to meet and get to know all of our guests and live just beyond your garden fence.
