BED AND BREAKFAST: A ground floor ensuite bed and breakfast room in our half-timbered, thatched late Tudor cottage (ie. built between 1585 and 1603). The cottage is in a very quiet rural location approximately midway between Ledbury and Malvern. It has low ceilings and doorways. The large informal cottage garden includes a view of Coddington Church and the surrounding hills.
Fiona: a countrywoman, whose interests are gardening, animals, birds, wildlife and the countryside, and Peter: an engineer who loves motorbikes, guitars and sailing.
Guests enjoy walking and riding in the Wye Valley (Goodrich Castle, Tintern Abbey and Symmonds Yat) and Malvern Hills (the Worcestershire Beacon and British Camp) and visiting Eastnor Castle, The Brockhampton Estate, Berrington Hall, The Weir Garden, Croft Castle and Parkland, Morgan Cars, The Malvern Festival Theatre, Westons Cider Mill, Worcester Porcelain Museum, Croome Court, and the cathedrals at Worcester and Hereford (home of the Mappa Mundi). There is a large calendar of events at the Malvern Showground, including the Spring Garden Show, Royal Agricultural Show, and Autumn Show, regular antiques fairs and so much more. Annual local events include the Ledbury Poetry, Hay Book and Welland Steam Festivals and Tewkesbury Medieval Festival with it's thrilling battle re-enactments.

1) The Moats is our home, NOT commercial premises. We currently offer only one bedroom to guests. The rest of the property is PRIVATE and guests are asked to vacate the premises between 10am and 6pm daily to afford us some privacy.

We do NOT offer any outdoor sitting area for guests, the gardens are strictly out of bounds, have been re-wilded and are strictly out of bounds to all guests.

2) Reservations should be made by the named guest staying to ensure acceptance of our published Terms and Conditions. Bookers must 18 years or older. Children under 12 years and adults over 75 years are only accommodated by prior agreement. We do not offer accommodation for guests with reduced mobility or wheelchairs. 3) Guests seeking to reserve after midday on the date of proposed check-in should check availability before booking: Contact 07375 857332 or [email protected]. Your host reserves the right to reject without relocation any reservation made after midday on the date of check-in.

4) Guests are required to provide advance verification of identity (including full name, current address, mobile phone number and email address) upon reservation, or not less than 3 days before check-in. An image of a recent Council Tax bill or pictorial driving licence can be sent by WhatsApp to 07375 857332 or email to [email protected].

5) Please monitor messages sent to you through your Booking.com extranet page and communicate with your host through it.

6) Your host works elsewhere during the day, so check-in is strictly 6pm to 8pm. Check-out is by 10am. This meets Booking.com’s international definition of private bed and breakfast accommodation.

7) A continental breakfast, included in the price of your stay, is served starting between 6.30am and 9am, in the cottage kitchen. Cooked breakfast is NOT offered.

8) Smoking and naked flames are forbidden on all parts of the premises, indoors and outdoors.
