Our property located just outside the town of Dalbeattie and champions a large garden with excellent open views. Visiting wildlife include regular visits of the red squirrel and a wide variety of birdlife. If your an early riser then you can spot the deer close to the cottage. if you enjoy peace and quiet then Craignair Cottage is the place to stay.
We offer a warm welcome to all our guests and wish them a relaxing and pleasant stay. When asked we offer advice on what to see and do and give guests the benefit of our knowledge of the local area and beyond.
Dalbeattie is a small friendly town. It has a magnificent museum run solely by volunteers who are always friendly and helpful. The town offers great walks in the local forests both for easy access or for those more able. The river urr is popular with fisherman for its salmon and easy access via Dalbeattie bridge. Dalbeattie has a nine hole golf course with amazing views over the immediate countryside a must for all golfers.
