Dufferin Coaching Inn & Hall is an enchanting 4 Star B&B, and, events venue located in picturesque Killyleagh on the shores of Strangford Lough, County Down in Northern Ireland. With scenic views surrounding this quaint village, Killyleagh is a hidden gem, set on the shores of Strangford lough in Northern Ireland for locals and international travellers alike who are seeking a quiet place to recharge and get back to nature, spend a day golfing or hill walking, or enjoy the many outstanding eateries dotting the area. Two outstanding restaurants and bars are nearby. The famous Dufferin Arms is next door for music, food and craic, and a 3 minute walk away is the very special smugglers bar and restaurant with the renowned chef Roy Abraham who specialises in seasonal produce cooked with passion.
We took the reins of Dufferin Coaching Inn & Hall in August 2019 and have enjoyed getting to show Killyleagh to a wide range of visitors from around the world.
Lying on the southwest corner of Strangford Lough in beautiful County Down, Killyleagh is a plantation town and port accented by the stunning 13th century Killyleagh Castle – one of Ireland’s oldest inhabited castles. At the other end of the picturesque village lie the shores of Strangford Lough, known for its spectacular sea views, hidden caves, sheltered inlets, abundant fishing and rare wildlife.
