Dunseverick Rambler’s Rest is a peaceful, dog-friendly self-catering retreat near Dunseverick on the Causeway Coast. Designed for guests travelling with dogs, our accommodation offers a calm, comfortable base with scenic coastal walks starting directly from the door. Beaches, headlands and dog-friendly cafés are all close by. Each room includes free Wi-Fi, smart TV, underfloor heating, kitchenette facilities and outdoor seating. Private access and on-site parking make stays simple and stress-free. This is a relaxed, welcoming place where dogs are genuinely welcome — not just accepted.
I created Dunseverick Rambler’s Rest to offer a genuinely dog-friendly coastal place to stay — where comfort, cleanliness and a relaxed atmosphere come first. I live locally and love sharing this beautiful coastline with guests and their dogs. I’m always happy to recommend walks, beaches, cafés and quieter spots that only locals know. My aim is simple: for both you and your dog to feel completely welcome.
People are often surprised by just how much there is to see and do on the North Coast. Within five miles alone you’ll find the Giant’s Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, White Park Bay, and Ballintoy Harbour — known to many as Westeros from Game of Thrones. Stay a little longer and you’ll discover even more. For walkers, this area is a true hidden gem. I know many wonderful routes with spectacular coastal views, quiet headlands, hidden beaches and peaceful countryside paths. Whether you enjoy gentle strolls or longer scenic hikes, there is something here for every level. And of course, your dog is very welcome to join you on the adventure.
