The front door opens on to a small hallway leading to the open plan sitting/dining room which has a large galley kitchen. The double bedroom, off the entrance hall, has an en suite family bathroom with shower & tub. Newly furnished, with private parking, you are minutes from Eton High Street and the college, & a short walk from the Thames.

Windsor is a royal destination, adorable, on the river and a seriously doable 22 mile commute to London. That’s an hour by car or anything between 25 and 55 minutes by train. London-bound there are two stations – Windsor and Eton Riverside and Central – servicing (respectively) London Paddington (one change) or direct to Waterloo. Eton is just 7 miles from London Heathrow Airport. But why leave? Eton is all about the college – with the school dotting the village with its glorious traditional buildings. During term time, you can see the boys scuttling about in their traditional tailcoats as they dash between classes. On the river, and crowned by stunning Windsor Castle on the opposite bank – the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world and the Queens favourite weekend home, the Royal Borough has a rich mix of history, culture, heritage and fun which makes it one of South East England’s loveliest destinations and a must see on everyones list. Witness the colourful and very ‘British’ spectacle of the guards marching through the streets of Windsor for the Changing the Guard ceremony within Windsor Castles walls, its a unique sight not to be missed!
