Ferndale Lodge, a family-run guest house, is placed only a few minutes’ stroll from the center of the charming Lake District town of Ambleside. With free parking. Light, airy rooms each include tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a TV and shower room. Some rooms also enjoy splendid views over Ambleside. Now offering a room only basis giving you total flexibility, have a lie in, a late brunch or an early lunch and the opportunity to enjoy the Lake District from the early morning. The cruise boats on Lake Windermere are 10 minutes’ walk away, while scenic Rydal Water is a 2 mile-drive. Windermere town is 5 miles away, accessible by buses that stop 2 minutes walk from the Lodge. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all rooms and throughout the property. Dogs are only allowed in the specific pet friendly room type. The King size room is on the ground floor.
