Wake up to sweeping country views at this beautifully converted barn in stunning Herefordshire—an idyllic setting for a couple’s getaway or walker’s retreat. Ferny is a truly relaxing escape, with complimentary access to a stunning heated indoor pool and optional spa treatments. Surrounded by picturesque market towns and National Trust sites there is plenty to do locally while days out further afield include Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Symonds Yat, Ross-on-Wye, the Forest of Dean and the Cotswolds. Points of Note: Book with us to get exclusive discounts to top attractions and experiences. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 1 well-behaved dog is welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. The property is on the first-floor of a barn conversion accessed by steep steps and has access to a swimming pool, therefore the property is not suitable for young children. Pool usage needs to be pre-booked. Guests get one hour complimentary usage of the pool per night stayed, subject to availability. You will be sent a separate link to book your time slot post booking. (Pool access is allocated as one hour per day, however, if availability is limited on a specific day, this may be combined into a longer session (e.g. a two-hour block) across the stay, subject to availability.) Please note the swimming pool is open seasonally and is closed from 1st November to 1st March each year. The pool will not be available for use during this period.

In a central location between Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and the Wye Valley, you’ll be perfectly placed for exploring some of the region’s top attractions – from the beautiful Cotswolds and Symonds Yat to Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon. The adventurous, outdoorsy type can set off to the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley or Malvern Hills for the day for canoeing, kayaking and walking, while history lovers will enjoy the many National Trust sites and castles in the local area. Shoppers can stroll around the pretty market towns of Hereford, Ledbury and Ludlow with their wonderful independent shops and cafes. Places to Visit: Hereford – a picturesque town perfect for a shopping trip (12 miles) Worcester – visit this historic city with its soaring cathedral (20.3 miles) Symonds Yat – Canoe down the River Wye or climb Symonds Yat Rock (29.5 miles) Eastnor Castle – surrounded by a deer park and arboretum this is a great day out exploring the castle and grounds. It is also home to the Land Rover Experience where you can book an exhilarating drive (15 miles) Malvern Hills – head out into the great outdoors and explore this beautiful landscape with a stop off at the lovely market town of Ledbury (12 miles).
