We are Nadine and Andy, both teachers, and we live at the property with our two teenage sons and our whippet, Lou Lou. Our cosy, self-contained annexe sits at the end of our garden in a quiet, central part of Winchester, with its own private entrance via an electric garage door so you can come and go independently. Just 150m from Oram’s Arbour park and around a 10-minute downhill walk to the High Street and station (uphill on return), it’s a comfortable base for exploring the city, with free permit parking available if needed. The annexe is set over two levels linked by a small L-shaped staircase: upstairs is a cosy bedroom with a large sofa, TV and table for eating or working, with patio doors opening directly onto the garden; downstairs (at garage level) is a compact kitchenette and shower room. The kitchenette is basic but well-equipped for simple meals, with a portable double electric hob, microwave, small portable oven, toaster, kettle, stovetop coffee maker and fridge. The shower room has an electric shower and toilet (please note there is no sink in the bathroom - the sink is in the kitchenette), and the ground floor has slightly reduced ceiling height in places (approx. 6'6"). We provide towels, basic toiletries, and a welcome supply of tea, coffee and milk. Guests are welcome to share the garden, and we are happy to wash a small bag of laundry and return it damp for drying.
