I'm Ingeborg, part German part Swedish (hence the name) and I run the B&B with my husband Charlie, retired Solicitor. We do this primarily to meet lovely individuals from all over the world. We have lived in Gardenvale for over 30 years now and we love this area, our favourite place to go is The Dark Hedges as it's walkable. We love The Giant's Causeway too! When we want to spoil ourselves for food, Ballycastle is great and it's so close (less than 15 miles) and Bushmills is fantastic too. Ask us for moredetails.

Gardenvale features 20 acres of beautiful grounds and an 18th Century Georgian / Victorian Manor for that unique, rustic Countryside setting. We are aimed at individuals seeking a City Break or Country Retreat and are located in the heart of Northern Ireland's Tourist Spots – less than a mile away from The Dark Hedges and just 13 miles from The Giants Causeway! Our number one priority (and mission statement, if you will) is to make guests feel 'at home' throughout their stay.

Neighborhood info

When staying with us it is a must to check out The Dark Hedges, it is less than 5 minutes away and a great photo opportunity. Of course, The Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge and Dunluce Castle are must sees too. If you're looking for something a bit different I would definitely recommend going to Ballycastle for some grub then catching the ferry over to Rathlin Island for the day for a cycling trip. On a sunny day it's like paradise! Of course check out our coastal towns Portrush and Portstewart for an evening on the beach, afternoon tea or a meal out.
