Garmoyle House is a 150 year old Victorian villa built by Scotland's famous ship building Denny family, and was later adapted to accommodate Carmelite nuns. The property is seeped in a varied and interesting history.
The surrounding leafy residential neighbourhood, elevated up on Kirkton hill, overlooks the river Clyde and offers a quiet peaceful environment. Dumbarton town centre located 15mins walk at the bottom of Kirkton hill comprises a small quirky high street with a village feel.
