This is a double room with ensuite with a separate entrance on our detached property which is walking distance to Ashford Town (5mins) and station (15mins). Free parking on the drive. The room has a separate entrance, is separate from the main house and has direct access to the garden where there is outdoor seating/dining with good coverage from trees. We are 20 mins away from Eurotunnel terminal at Folkestone and 30 mins away from Dover Ferry Port. So ideal for staying over to catch a early train or a ferry to Calais, France or to have a overnight break before onward journey if you are travelling from the EU to UK. Ashford is equally great as a base to explore Kent, famously known as the garden of England! Lots of lovely attractions like Leeds Castle, White Cliffs of Dover, Port Lympne Wildlfe Park, Canterbury Cathedral, Wye downs and beautiful beaches are all only a short dive away. Christmas is a time we enjoy very much and I will be dressing up the room (apologies for those who don't celebrate), including lots of natural pine cuttings from our garden. For families with children up to 2 years, we can provide a travel cot at extra cost and being only 20 mins drive away from the Reindeer Centre, it is an ideal place for a weekend getaway during Christmas time. The reindeer centre has over 80 reindeers and has a magical Santa Grotto, an amazing experience which gets sold out quickly, so book well ahead of time.

We are a family of four with a dog and passionate about travel. After staying in many B&Bs, it has inspired us to create our own B&B. Our dog Boe is a rescue and a long haired beauty that moults often and it is impossible to collect and bin every hair he loses! So however much we try, there may be occasional hair or two that may find it's way to the carpet or the soft furnishings. Therefore the room is unsuitable for those with pet allergies.

Close to town, a range of restaurants, Shopping Malls, 6 screen Picturehouse Cinema and train station is walking distance. A little further on, (about 30min walk) is the McArtherGlen Designer Outlet. Short drive out of Ashford Town is the beautiful Kent countryside, with great walking paths including Wye Downs and Dover White Cliffs. Folkestone, Dungeness and Romney Marsh Beaches are about 30 mins drive. Historic Leeds Castle is another lovely day out and is about 25 mins drive.
