Our cosy barn conversion is perfect for that active North Devon break. Located on the outskirts of town, next to the A39 but within walking distance of the bustling market town of Barnstaple Greendale Farm is set within four acres and within a fifteen minute drive to Instow and Saunton beaches as well as Saunton and Portmore golf courses. Our front gate opens onto the Tarka Trail- the network of cycle and footpaths tracks that span Devon. We welcome children and dogs (please keep dogs on a lead as we have farm animals), bikes and surfboards and have a barn which is available to lock up bikes and surfboards as well as an outdoor tap to hose off sandy wetsuits, dogs and children! It is self-catering and consists of one bedroom and a shower room, and an open plan kitchen, lounge with a sofa bed up a winding staircase (PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STAIRS ARE QUITE STEEP AND WILL BE DIFFICULT FOR GUESTS WITH MOBILITY CONCERNS). Spacious for two, additional guests are welcome on sofa bed in the lounge. There is a breakfast bar, kitchen facilities which include a microwave, fridge/ freezer and a washing machine. There is an outdoor BBQ area in the private courtyard and another in the gazebo overlooking the lake. The property is accessed via a narrow, quiet single track country lane. We have an EV charge point (Zappie GLO 7kW) that guests are welcome to use for a reasonable fee, please ask on arrival.

Little Barn is attached to our family house, Greendale Farm. We are generally available for any enquires you might have. However the barn is entirely self contained and with a private courtyard garden so you are welcome to come and go without feeling the need to interact. We do have animals on the property including sheep, goats, ducks, chickens and dogs and therefore we ask that you keep all dogs on a lead whilst on the property. It might also be worth noting that the stairs are steep and may not be suitable for very young children or people with mobility restrictions. There is also a lake onsite which is not fenced, guests are more than welcome to swim, SUP(you are welcome to borrow ours) or just enjoy. Small children must be supervised at all times when outside of Little Barn and its courtyard.

Our farm overlooks our lake, the River Taw and green fields and yet is conveniently located close to the bustling market town of Barnstaple. There is an Indian Take Away in Newport and Barnstaple has some lovely restaurants. Tesco's is fifteen minutes walk on the Tarka Trail or a couple of miles drive.
