Drumnamucklach Courtyard Cottages sit high on the hill above the coastline and offer spectacular panoramic views out to Gigha, Cara, Jura and beyond. During your stay are welcome to enjoy a walk up the hill spotting wildlife or down along our coastline. Should you wish to venture slightly further you can easily walk along the beach to the ferry in Tayinloan where you can take the 20 minute ferry ride to the island of Gigha which is definitely worthwhile if you have time. A few local villages within 5 miles which offer a local grocery shop, post office, off-licence and petrol station. In the bigger town of Tarbert, approx 20 miles north, there is also a pharmacy, banks a co-op supermarket and a few boutique stores as well as a butchers, grocer and the like. There is an array of restaurants and cafe's, mainly located around the harbourside. Campbeltown, approx 18 miles south offers a greater selection, with furniture stores, Tesco and co-op supermarkets, hardware stores etc.
