A beautifully appointed single-storey, wooden-clad barn, Harts Leap is a haven of peace and quiet, lying at the end of a long private drive and boasting stunning views over open countryside. The village of Redmarley D'Abitot is close to the Cotswolds and yet provides access to other wonderful walking areas including the Malvern Hills, Ledbury and Newent.

Information correct at time of writing. Harts Leap is ideally situated on the outskirts of the pretty village Redmarley D'Abitot in the Forest of Dean. With easy access to Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and The Cotswolds, there is plenty for you to go and explore. The charming village of Redmarley D'Abitot has a church, village hall, cricket club and playing fields. Plenty of scenic walks and cycle routes are easily accessible in the surrounding countryside, and the village is near attractions such as Eastnor Castle, surrounded by a beautiful deer park, arboretum, and lake; and Eastnor Pottery where you can discover your inner potter at the potter's wheel. Ledbury is only a 15 minute drive away, and boasts a significant number of tudor-style timber-framed houses. Explore the historic streets, cobbled lanes and tiny alleyways to find many independent shops and heritage highlights such as the Market House and the 16th Century Painted Room. There are some excellent pubs and restaurants nearby including The Butchers Arms in Eldersfield (4 miles, advance booking is advised at this Michelin starred pub), The Inn at Welland (8 miles), The Royal Exchange at Hartpury (6 miles) and the Kilcot Inn in Newent (5 miles). Surrounding Ledbury are many woods and orchards, with footpaths winding into the Malvern Hills - this area is well known for its dramatic hills and the pure spring water that flows from them. The medieval market town of Tewkesbury is a 20 minute drive away, with rich and vibrant history, historic abbey, and is a wonderful waterside setting, there is something for everyone. Enjoy a stroll alongside the River Severn, or a boat trip along the River Avon. Tewkesbury Abbey is a prime feature within the town, and is well known for its fine Norman tower, 12th century ceiling, and beautiful stained glass windows.
