Thetford Forest Park is just 500 metres away from the house and home to 50,000 acres of woodland offering bike rides, walking trails, paintball and high-wire experience. Peddars Way is also close by and comprises a Roman road which joins the Norfolk Coastal Path and provides 96.5 miles of walks through National Nature Trails. Great Hockham has a pub, while a selection of boutique shops can be found in the market town of Watton, just 6 miles away. Within 15 minutes of the house, there is a great selection of pubs and restaurants including The Red Lion in Caston, The Angel at Larling and The Gamekeeper in Old Buckingham.
