A beautiful Grade II* Listed Jacobean manor, Holdsworth House Hotel offers 33 luxury rooms and an award-winning restaurant. The historic house with its tree-lined driveway is full of character and surrounded by private, mature gardens, hidden terraces and ample parking spaces. Guests may be familiar with Holdsworth House as it has been a film location for several British-made TV shows, including Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are used in the restaurant. All dishes are prepared fresh to order, including traditional afternoon tea and the a la carte menu, which provide guests with fine dining and relaxed, home-cooked dishes. Breakfast is a plentiful selection of cooked-to-order hot choices, and a continental buffet for fruits, pastries and cereals. Gluten free diets and known allergies are catered for. The three rooms that make up the restaurant feature stone mullioned windows, oak paneling and original fireplaces, providing a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The 33 bedrooms are individually decorated and include a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a seating area. There is also an private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and bathrobes. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout. Halifax town center, The Piece Hall and Halifax train station are just 10 minutes’ drive away. Leeds, Hebden Bridge and Bronte Country are a 25-minute drive from Holdsworth House.
