Please note: Currently being renovated in the area is the historic 19th century woollen mill, Hinchliffe Mill which the village shares its name with, it is situated several hundred metres away on the other side of the river. We apologise if there is any disturbance or noise as work is carried out. The working days are Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings. Welcome to Holmfirth Hideaway. ~ Tucked away in the small village of Holmbridge, on the edge of the Peak District. Sleeping 2 it is open plan and has a fabulous view. Cosy and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and a garden to enjoy. ~ Holmfirth is a short drive, bus ride or walk away, where you will have access to bars, restaurants and cafes. ~ Perfectly positioned for cyclists and walkers. ~ The Hideaway is dog friendly. Please let me know if you will be bringing a dog so I can make a dog bed, treats and bowls available. ~ Off road parking for 1 car in our designated bay. Additional cars must park on the road where there is plenty of room. ~ The Hideaway has a comfortable seating area with a smart TV and Netflix and Prime apps (please bring your own passwords). ~ On arrival you will find a welcome tray with tea, coffee and snacks to refresh you. ~ The bedroom has a full length mirror wardrobe with bathrobes for your use. ~ There is also a washing machine and laundry detergent. ~ If you wish to sit outside there are chairs, cushions and throws kept in the shed. ~ Lock combination will be given on arrival. ~ There is a garden for your use only, with an access path which runs through it for the neighbouring property. There is fencing and a gate which allows a dog to remain safely in the patio area, away from the path. ~ The whole property is accessible for guests. ~ Although the underdwelling is ground floor please note that there are 3 steps between the car park and the access path which takes you through a neighbours garden before you arrive at No.3 Holmfirth Hideaway.

Holmfirth is a vibrant town with lots of places to eat and drink. You can listen to live music at the Holmfirth Picturedrome, enjoy some of the town's festivals or visit the vineyard. It's also a great base for cyclists and walkers with a beautiful valley to explore or a reservoir to ramble around.
